Returns / Cancellation Fee / Order Changes / Insurance

The following terms of sale are binding upon clicking the "check box" at checkout:

1. Returns Policy

i. Batteries can only be returned within 14 days after arrival only if defective. If defective, we will provide a shipping label for the return.  Please check your batteries as soon as possible after receiving them.  

No returns on incorrect battery orders; once the batteries are delivered, they are yours.  Please ensure that the batteries are correct for your application before purchasing!  

ii. Anything else unless specifically noted in the item description can be returned within 30 days after the date of delivery whether defective, or for any other reason, as long as items are still in “like new” condition.  All returned items must include all original packaging and materials.

All authorized returns must be mailed within 10 days of receiving return authorization.  Failure to mail within the alloted time will result in a 10% restocking fee, or denial of the return.  A tracking number must be provided for the return on any return with a value greater than $25.

A refund will be given only after items are inspected for damage and missing pieces. 

To schedule a return, please contact us.  Any return without prior authorization will incur a 10% restocking fee (assuming no damage) or the return may be denied.

2. Order Cancellation Fee

After an order is placed, we often immediately begin working on printing, building, and packaging the necessary order components; therefore, during this process we incur costs in both time and labor that are lost when an order is cancelled.  All cancellation fees will be deducted from your refund.

After an order has shipped, we cannot cancel it, and it will have to be processed as a regular return.

The order cancellation fee schedule is as follows:

  1. E-mail received requesting cancellation within the first 30 minutes after an order is placed:  No fee.

    AFTER 30 MINUTES:
  2. No custom build items: $1 per order cancelled.
  3. Custom build items: $2 per order cancelled + $0.50 per custom item cancelled.  
    1. Including but not limited to: dedomed LEDs, sliced LEDs, custom reflowed LEDs, custom build drivers (generally those with a 10 business day build time), and drivers with chips added or removed.

3. Order Changes & Additions Policy

In order to provide fast, accurate, and efficient service to you, we will not change to or add items onto your existing order. 

i. Changes

If you need to change your order, please notify us and we will cancel and refund your existing order.  You can then place a new order.  This will move you to the back of the order queue.  Please do your research and ask your questions before placing your order.

ii. Additions

If you need to add items to your order, please place another order and place the following text into your checkout comments***

"Please combine this order with order #xxxx."  

We will refund you for the difference in shipping cost when your order(s) ship, unless your order has already been packaged or shipped; in that case, we will not refund you the shipping difference.  

iii. Order Comments / Coupons

Any checkout comments requesting a change or service that is not listed on the website for the specific product you are ordering or was not discussed and approved prior to the order being placed will be disregarded.  Do not ask us to make changes without prior approval!

We will not apply any coupons to your order after the fact.  If there is a coupon you would like to use, please apply it yourself in the shopping cart.

4. Shipping Insurance (USA)

By default shipping insurance is as follows:

No additional insurance is included unless buyer elects to choose and pay for it.  

Once the order has been shipped to the buyer's specified address, buyer bares the risk of loss, unless shipping insurance has been purchased. 

 

5. Freight Forwarding Policy

If your order is shipped through a freight forwarding company, or is otherwise shipped to a person or entity other than the final recipient, seller shall not be responsible for any of the following:  i. Damage to the items during shipment; ii. Lost shipments; iii. Delayed shipments; iv. Rejected shipments.  There will be no refunds given if a freight forwarder is used.
