All XHP70, no donut hole ;-) (If you've tried to build an XHP70 light in most reflectors, you'll get this!) This is one of the few hosts that was truly designed around the XHP70 high-output emitter. This host has enough battery capacity and heatsinking for extended maximum output runtimes. The large OP reflector was designed from the ground up to deliver a smooth hotspot from the big quad-die XHP70 emitter. The matte-black hard anodized finish and square-cut threads both add to the light's good looks and durability. The tailcap spring has been pre-bypassed for extra current carrying ability.
Simply add a 20mm MCPCB, 27.5mm / 30mm driver, and 12mm momentary switch board (switch board not necessary if you only want to use the rear switch).
The host runs off of 2x 26650 batteries, specifically: protected and unprotected button top or raised top 26650 cells in 2x26650/18650 configuration. The 5200mAh protected button top battery we sell is too long to fit in this light.
Protected batteries are recommended for 2x cell usage.
